You have two ways of generating client statements:
- from the "Clients" tab: at the bottom of each client page, you have a link towards all the documents which concern this client ("View all invoices")
- from the list of your documents (Income > All): you can use the search engine on the left and type the name of the client in the field "Enter keyword or number" and use other search criteria to generate the list of relevant documents. 

You can also use the Report tab to generate clients reports (including customers balance).
